tarotgratis started in German as a place to look up what a card means without wading through a sales page first. The English pages are newer and work the same way: a card, a reading, no account.

What we write

Every reading is written by a person, edited before it goes out, and held to one rule: say something the reader can act on this week. We do not predict events, name dates, or tell anyone that someone is coming back.

What we will not do

No readings about illness, death, pregnancy, court cases, or money someone cannot afford to lose. If a question belongs to a doctor, a lawyer or a therapist, that is who should answer it. Tarot is for reflection, and on a good day for a bit of courage.

The card images

The deck shown is the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot, drawn by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909 and in the public domain. It is the deck most English card meanings are written against, which is why we use it.
